OSCARS® GOVERNORS BALL RETURNS FOR 66TH YEAR

THE OSCARS SET TO AIR LIVE MARCH 2, AT 7 P.M. ET/4 P.M. PT,
ON ABC AND HULU


The Governors Ball, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ official post-Oscars® celebration, which will immediately follow the 97th Oscars ceremony on Sunday, March 2, returns for its 66th year.  For details on this year’s ball, including décor renderings and sustainability efforts, visit the press kit here (registration is required).
 

  • Wolfgang Puck Catering celebrates its 31st year at the Governors Ball with a menu created by Wolfgang Puck and Eric Klein, and pastry design by Kamel Guechida and Garry Larduinat ​​​​​
  • Tequila Don Julio returns with acclaimed mixologist Charles Joly – joined in partnership with 2024 World’s Best Bar Handshake Speakeasy from Mexico City – to raise a glass with signature cocktails, including “The Class Act” with Tequila Don Julio 1942, “The Clear Winner” with Tequila Don Julio Reposado and “The Thespian” (non-alcoholic)
  • For a third consecutive year, Clarendelle & Domaine Clarence Dillon wines will be the exclusive red and white wines poured at the Governors Ball and other Oscars-related events
  • For the first year, Champagne Lallier – founded in 1906 – will be the exclusive champagne featured at the Governors Ball and other Oscars-related events 
     

The Governors Ball will take place in the Ray Dolby Ballroom on the top level of Ovation Hollywood immediately following the Oscars broadcast.

The 97th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and will be televised live on ABC, streamed live on Hulu and airs live in more than 200 territories worldwide.
