NATASHA LYONNE TO HOST ACADEMY’S SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL AWARDS

LOS ANGELES, CA – Director, producer, writer and actor Natasha Lyonne will host the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Scientific and Technical Awards presentation on Friday, February 23, 2024, at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. She will present 16 achievements during the evening.

A five-time Emmy® nominee and two-time Golden Globe® nominee with a career spanning more than three decades, her film credits include "The United States vs. Billie Holiday," "But I'm a Cheerleader" and "Slums of Beverly Hills." She will next produce and star opposite Carrie Coon and Elizabeth Olsen in Azazel Jacobs' feature film "His Three Daughters." She stars in, executive produces, as well as writes and directs the series "Poker Face," which is in pre-production for its second season. She co-created, wrote, directed and starred in the critically acclaimed series "Russian Doll." Most recently, she directed and executive produced the stand-up special "Get On Your Knees" from Jacqueline Novak. Lyonne executive produced and stars in the upcoming animated series "The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy." She produces under her banner, Animal Pictures.

Scientific and Technical Awards need not have been developed and introduced during a specified period. Instead, the achievements must demonstrate a proven record of contributing significant value to making motion pictures.
